Skiing on the Snowy Hill [A1]

I went skiing with my family last winter holiday. It was my first time to try this fun sport. When we arrived at the ski field, I saw thick white snow everywhere. My coach helped me put on my ski boots and long skis. At first, I felt afraid. The skis were slippery and I fell down two times. The coach told me to bend my knees and look forward. I stood up and tried again. Slowly, I could slide a short way without falling. My parents watched me and smiled. Later, we took the ski lift up to a gentle slope. The cold wind touched my face. I loved the quiet white world around me. Before we left, I drank hot soup to keep warm. Skiing is not easy, but it brings so much joy. I hope I can come back and practice more next winter.
