I love riding my mountain bike on weekends. Last Saturday, I went riding with my father in the hills near our town. We put on our helmets before we started. Helmets keep our heads safe if we fall down. The bike is strong. It has thick tyres for dirt roads. At first, the path was flat and easy. I rode fast and felt the wind on my face. Soon the road went uphill. My legs became tired. I slowed down and kept pedaling. Sometimes I stopped to look at green plants and small birds. When we went downhill, I held the brakes carefully. We rode for about two hours. At the end of the trip, I was tired but excited. Riding a mountain bike is great fun. It helps me stay healthy and enjoy the beautiful nature around us. I hope I can go riding again next weekend.
